Biography:
Dr. Maria Grazia Amoroso studied Food Technology at the University of Naples Federico II and graduated in 2000. She then joined, as a PhD student, the research group of Immunology and Molecular Biology at the same University.
During her PhD she won a Marie Curie Fellowship at the University of Utrecht (The Netherlands), Faculty of Veterinary Medicine for 9 months.
She received her PhD degree in 2004. After 3 year of postdoctoral fellowship, she worked for 7 years as researcher at the Zooprofilactic and Experimental Institute of Southern Italy (IZSM), Department of Animal Health, in the Laboratory of Virology.
In 2013 she graduated in Biology at the University of Naples Federico II.
From 2017 to 2021 she has been responsible of the Unit of Viral Genetics at the IZSM. From 2021 she is responsible of the Unit of Viral Diagnostics and cell culture of the same Institute.
She has published around 40 research articles in peer reviewed journals.
